Veterinary Vouchers Trust Fund Policy Document

Principles and activities aimed at achieving these policies:

  • the first priority is the welfare of the animal
  • the provision of bursaries for students at vet schools
  • to co-operate with veterinary surgeons when recommendations are made that a client is unable to meet treatment costs for emergency treatment
  • the Trustees will not consider applications until such time as there is a minimum of £25,000 available in the account
  • to make available the policies and the findings of the Trust to interested parties. To consult and to exchange ideas with local and national organizations with similar charitable objectives
  • to raise funds and to invite and receive contributions by way of subscription, donation, legacies or otherwise
  • to make regulations to ensure the proper supervision, control and management of the Trust and to ensure the proper management of the Trust by a general committee
  • to review the aims and policies of the Trust at all times and to invite suggestions from anyone who feels they have a contribution to make
